Zimbabwe Hunting

Zimbabwe is soundly equipped to meet a wide range of your hunting wishes and desires. From the novice’s hunting goals and budget, to the well-seasoned hunter’s goals and budget, Zimbabwe could be the perfect fit for your first or next African - Exclusive Adventure!

Zimbabwe is a small, southern African country with a big and well established safari business. It offers some of the best mixed bag hunting in Africa, at some of the most reasonable rates available. Without question, Zimbabwe provides the “best bang for the buck” in African dangerous game hunting.

Zimbabwe does not offer a unique species, but does provide a good variety of desirable animals, including the Big 4, and all occur in good numbers. A safari in Zimbabwe can range from a 7 day ranch hunt for plains game, to a full bag wilderness affair for elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo. There is something in Zimbabwe to fit about any budget.

Some of Zimbabwe’s very best hunting can be found on private property in the large conservancies. Mark's Exclusive Adventures works primarily with operators on the 850,000 acre Save Valley Conservancy. The vastness of the Save will provide the hunter with almost every huntable species found in Zimbabwe. The game densities are very high, providing even a plains game hunter the opportunity to encounter several members of the Big 5 on any given day. The Save is home to some of the best lion in Africa, and is also populated with big leopard, good buffalo and elephant. Plains game are in abundance with sable, nyala, kudu, eland, bushbuck, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, and several other species available.

Mark's Exclusive Adventures also offers hunts for exceptional elephant and big sable on the Forestry areas in Western Zimbabwe. These areas are between Bulawayo and the Victoria Falls, along the Botswana border. Here you might see multiple big bull elephants, as well as that sable of a lifetime. Common game is also available in these areas, but elephant and sable really shine.
